We’ve got some lovely news to share today! This year is release year, with many news coming, so here's one to kick things off! We're excited to announce that The Witch's Bakery now has an official price for its digital release on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S!

If you've backed our game, it might not be too much of a surprise... still, this is a big milestone for development and progress towards release!

We hope you all had a great end of 2025! ✨

This year has been incredibly meaningful for us. We were continuously searching for funding for the game while still pushing development forward, and we were lucky enough to find Silver Lining as our publisher, with whom the collaboration has been going really well, allowing us to make a full version of the game! 💕

We’re celebrating Sunny Lab’s 3rd studio anniversary🎉
And we’re incredibly grateful to still be on this journey. Without your support, your enthusiasm, and the love you show every day for our game and our characters, we might never have made it this far. Thanks to you, and to our amazing team... we did it, we survived one more year! And we will keep going. 
We can’t wait to bring you even more joy, hope, and love in the future. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts 💛

We're happy to share that we've reached Chapter 4, which revolves around the emotion Anger. 


In this chapter, you'll meet Kei Takeuchi, a former French-Japanese Michelin-starred chef, and learn more about his story and the Regret he carries.

Art 🎨

We did some research on a new character who appears in Chapter 3, Mille-Lieux! She's a reporter who often visits The Aside. She plays a very important role in our universe.
She also happens to be Mawuli's mother! Aren't they adorable together? 🥺💕

We met the team behind Clean Up Earth, a relaxing, feel-good co-op cleaning sim where players restore iconic biomes and watch nature return in real time. 

We wanted to share a shout out for their upcoming Kickstarter campaign!

You can play Clean Up Earth solo for a mindful loop, team up 2–10 players for cozy, collaborative cleanups or even join 30+ players on vast community maps to feel the energy of collective action. Even better, the project aims to support environmental NGOs via partner-funded micro-donations tied to in-game progress.

Recent news ☀️

If you didn't see our last news, we're so happy to announce that The Witch's Bakery is coming to all platforms: Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and Switch 1! It's all thank to your amazing support day by day that we are able to expand our magic in many platforms! 🎮

Speaking about the game, we did our very first playtest! It went very well and we're happy to see all your reactions. We continue to improve the game thanks to your feedback, and many good things have come out of it 🌟

We’re working closely on the Heart Palace Fear, creating new assets and balancing it to make it as impressive as the Heart Palace Sadness,and convey the emotion of its chapter.

And we also have new animations for Fear, look at her with Sadness! Which one's the cutest?👀
